Ron Mueck, a hyper-realist sculpture, has a definite attention to detailed sculpture. He is a UK artist with a lot of his work shown at the national gallery. His installations and exhibitions have gained him world fame. All though I think he is talented, a lot of his work is gross sculpture in my book.

Duane Hanson

Duane Hanson is arguably one of the best, and certainly my favorite figurative sculptor. Using a number of different medium, painted bronze, silicon, rubber, plaster. He captures not only realistic faces and bodies, but also a by gone Ara of the 70's and early 80's that is forever shown in his art. His work borders on edgy and controversial.

J. Seward Johnson

J. Seward Johnson create life size and large scale sculpture of people, a lot of them done just with foam, paper and paint. It gives me a good feeling as an artist to know you can build such awesome art with such cheap materials, and get such a sculpted beautiful form.
